By now most of you know
The Avengers absolutely ruled the box
office this past weekend with a $207.4 million dollar opening weekend.
It is the highest grossing opening weekend of all time, the fastest ever
to $200 million, and the single best Saturday ($69.5 million) and
Sunday ($57 million) of all time.
The Avengers was fantastic.
One of the best super hero movies ever made, and most certainly the best
Marvel Super hero movie made. The franchise will continue with
Iron Man 3 in May 2013,
Thor 2 in November 2013, and a sequel to
Captain America: The First Avenger in 2014.
The Avengers, as if you didn't know, is now in theaters.
