The DVD Update

Movies movies movies!  It's time for your DVD update with a  few flicks announced as coming soon to your home theaters!

Machete
In Stores January 4th

IGN.com is reporting that Machete hits homes on January 4, 2011.  No special features have been announced yet but do you really need any?  The film is awesome that's all that matters!

Resident Evil: Afterlife
In Stores December 28th

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that, on December 28, it will release Resident Evil: Afterlife on Blu-ray, in two editions: a 2D Blu-ray and a 3D Blu-ray (which also includes the 2D version). Note that, unlike most other live-action 3D movies, the latest installment in the Resident Evil franchise was shot natively in 3D, using the same Cameron/Pace cameras used for Avatar.

Caprica Season 1.5
In Stores December 14th

Caprica was recently canceled with another Battlestar Gallactica spin off on the way instead.  Let's hope it's more interesting like the original show.  Caprica was boring, depressing, and just not interesting at all, but if your a completest then the second half of the first and only season is hitting DVD before Christmas!

The A-Team
In Stores December 14th

The A-Team was previously announced but this is the final artwork for the disc!

Laugh It Up Fuzzball: The Family Guy Trilogy
In Stores December 21st

The Family Guy Trilogy is coming just before Christmas on DVD and Blu-Ray. The set includes Blue Harvest, Something Something Something Darkside, and the new parody of Return Of The Jedi, It's A Trap!.
