Vin Diesel Gives Us New Looks At Riddick

Vin Diesel continues to give fans a look into the production of Riddick by posting concept art, set pictures, and stills on his Facebook page.  This time he posts pictures of a creature from the film as well as actress Katee Sackhoff  who plays Dahl in the film..  Riddick is due in theaters later this year.

Riddick Officially Begins Production

Universal has officially announced that principal photography has begun on Riddick.  The follow up to The Chronicles Of Riddick, is directed by David Twohy.  Twohy directed Chronicles, as well as the original Riddick film, Pitch Black.  The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.  Riddick is due in theaters later this year.

More Riddick 3 Art

Vin Diesel continues to post Riddick 3 concept art on his Facebook page, and here is the latest!

Riddick 3 Concept Art

Pitch Black and The Chronicles Of Riddick were both pretty decent science fiction films.  Yah I can hear the groans now, but really go watch them again.  Yes they have some not so good acting in them and overall science fiction cheese, but they really are not that bad.  If nothing else they have a loyal following of fans and the universe in which the films are set is an interesting one.  Riddick 3 is in pre-production now and Vin Diesel himself decided to share this awesome piece of concept art through his Facebook page!
