Rumors have been running rampant this week that Christopher Nolan was going to use cut footage of Heath Ledger as The Joker in
The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan has finally spoken and said that this is absolutely not true. He did confirm that Tom Hardy is in the film but no further details as of yet as to what it will be about. Most likely though, it will be amazing.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters in 2012.

Mr. Nolan was the absolute BEST Joker portrayal that I could ever imagine. The depth of his "Diabolic Evil" was supremely enacted. If he believes that his Joker is better left hanging at the end of the Dark Knight, he knows better than we do. I'm disappointed that I won't be seeing this Super Villain in the sequel, but then again, how do you top Dark Knight?
