Trailer Park: The Killer
Trailer Park is back and slightly revamped. With Trailer Park a classic film is spotlighted by movie posters and the films classic trailer! Today Trailer Park presents John Woo's 1989 action classic The Killer.
The Killer (1989) Recently a remake was announced to start filming soon and produced by Woo. Many people out there have still not seen the original film and though it is a better film in some regards than Woo's better known Hard Boiled, it hasn't held up the same cult status that Hard Boiled has. An extremely violent Hong Kong action film, this is the story of an assassin, Jeffrey Chow (aka Mickey Mouse) who takes one last job so he can retire and care for his girlfriend Jenny. When his employers betray him, he reluctantly joins forces with Inspector Lee (aka Dumbo), the cop who is pursuing him. Together, the new friends face the final confrontation of the gangsters out to kill them The film has influenced film makers across the world with Woo's kinetic intense action scenes If you love action and have not seen this film then check it out! It was recently re-released on a two disc DVD and Blu-Ray set in the Fall of 2010. In the mean time check out the film's posters and trailer below!

Amy Adams Cast As Lois Lane
Amy Adams, who was recently nominated for an Oscar for her performance in The Fighter, has been cast in Zach Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot, supposedly called Superman: The Man Of Steel, as Lois Lane.
Snyder had this to say: “There was a big, giant search for Lois,” Snyder said. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”
“It goes back to what I’ve said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What’s important to us is making him relebant and real and making him empathetic to today’s audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance].”
"Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about," Snyder said in a statement Sunday. "So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful."
When questioned on the feeling of developing a film where every casting choice is a global news flash, ”It’s an epic thing, no doubt. But this good news is the cast is shaping up to fit that.”

Aronofsky Not Directing The Wolverine
Darren Aronofsky will not be directing The Wolverine. This is sucky news no doubt as he would have made a pretty awesome flick.
Statements from the director and Fox are as follows: "As I talked more about the film with my collaborators at Fox, it became clear that the production of ‘The Wolverine’ would keep me out of the country for almost a year. I was not comfortable being away from my family for that length of time. I am sad that I won't be able to see the project through, as it is a terrific script and I was very much looking forward to working with my friend, Hugh Jackman, again."
Fox had this to say: "While we are of course disappointed that Darren can’t do ‘The Wolverine’, we also understand and respect his reasons. Having done both ‘The Wrestler’ and ‘Black Swan’ with Darren, we know he is an extraordinary talent and we look forward to working with him on other projects in the future. Hugh Jackman and Fox both remain fully committed to making ‘The Wolverine’. We will regroup and move forward aggressively."
Where this leaves The Wolverine is anyone's guess. Apparently the film hasn't even officially been green lit even though script and some pre-production work has been done including Jackman himself bulking up for the role. It's quite possible the thing could fall apart completely. The Comicpalooza Blog will keep you posted.
