Rumors continue to float around about the introduction of fan favorite characters, Michonne and The Governor, being introduced into the television version of
The Walking Dead. All rumors lead to Michonne being introduced in the season 2 finale, but rest assured, we have to wait until season 3 for The Governor. AMC has announced that actor David Morrisey will be playing fan favorite villain, The Governor, in season 3 of
The Walking Dead.
Fans of the graphic novel know that The Governor is a central part of
the series and they have been waiting patiently to see him in the
television show.
The Walking Dead Season 3 begins production in April and should begin airing in October 2012 with a 16 episode season.
