The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 Trailer

The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 is the next animated movie from DC Universe, adapting the mega popular Frank Miller novel of the same name into two parts.   Peter Weller is voicing Batman, and the first part of the film hits this fall and looks pretty bad ass!

The Avengers Hits Blu-Ray/DVD September 25th

     One of the biggest movies of all time hits home on September 25th and this official press release spills the news for the release of The Avengers on Blu-Ray and DVD.

First Look At Animated Dark Knight Returns

DC Animation and Warner Brothers are bringing Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns to DVD and Blu-Ray later this year in a two-part adaption of the insanely popular comic book series.  The Hollywood Reporter has given us our first look at the adaption with these new stills below!  It was also revealed that Robocop star Peter Weller will voice Batman/Bruce Wayne in the film, as well as Ariel Winter as Robin and Wade Williams as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

Green Lantern Extended Cut Coming To Blu-Ray

Green Lantern will be hitting DVD and Blu-Ray on October 14th and it's interesting to note that an extended cut will be included on the Blu-Ray edition.  What is being included in this cut is not known yet but I will keep you posted.

Mortal Kombat Legacy Hitting Blu-Ray & DVD

Kevin Tancharoen's popular Mortal Kombat: Legacy - a series that unraveled over the web - is making its DVD and Blu-Ray debut via Warner Home Entertainment. The series will hit stores  on November 8.

Batman: Year One Trailer

I have to say that most, if not all of the DC Universe Animated movies have been really good.  Most recently they released Green Lantern: Emerald Knights.  Now comes another Batman film based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller titled Batman: Year One.  The movie will hit Blu-ray, DVD, and OnDemand on October 18th and will feature a Catwoman short film also.Check out the very cool trailer for the movie below!

The DVD Update - Superman Anthology Coming To Blu-Ray

Warner Brothers Home Video recently announced that all Superman films would be re-released in a Superman Anthology set.  The set is massive and includes the following:


Disc One - Superman: The Movie (theatrical edition), audio commentary (by Ilya Salkind and Pierre Spengler), the 1978 TV special The Making of Superman: The Movie, the 1951 Superman and the Mole-Men feature, 3 WB cartoons (Super-Rabbit, Snafuperman and Stupor Duck), theatrical trailers
