Will We Finally See Sin City 2??

Robert Rodriguez has been talking about Sin City 2 forever now and at times most people seem to think it will never happen.  Now as he promotes Spy Kids 4 he is talking about the Sin City sequel again. 

This is what he had to say: "Sin City 2 is going good, we’re just finishing the script for that, we already got the money. We have everything we need so we can just start shooting as soon as we get the pages. And it’s the same thing for Machete 2. We’ve already got the budget, just waiting for the script. As soon as we’re finished writing we get to start the shoot."
 
So Sin City 2 and Machete 2 are apparently on their way.  When my butt is  in the theater watching it then I will believe it!

These new TV spots might just give you the answer!  I'm amazed we are actually seeing this movie made.  Don't get me wrong, Danny Trejo deserves it and it looks like it's going to be insane fun.  But Robert Rodriguez seems to talk movies up and they never happen so anytime one actually gets made it's an accomplishment.  Now will he ever make Sin City 2?
