Not sure of the actual source on this but concept art has hit the web of what appears to be the Lizard from next summers The Amazing Spider-Man.  Looks pretty cool but the film still doesn't seem to be having any buzz about it.....maybe people are just to pumped for The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers.

The first trailer for the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man reboot film has arrived.  I can't help but watch this and think that I have seen this before.  It also just feels a bit dark and brooding for a Spider-Man film.  The first person view of Spider-Man going around rooftops was a bit nauseating too.  Am I watching a movie or a video game?  Decide for yourself by watching the first trailer.  The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters in July 2012.

The Amazing Spider-Man!

The Spider-Man reboot finally has a title and it is.....The Amazing Spider-Man!  Fitting I think and I really hope the movie turns out well even though I wish they wouldn't have rebooted the franchise but ah well!  There is also a new image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man below!

Spider-Man Revealed

The still Untitled Spider-man Reboot is over a year away and as you can see it still has no title. Here is the first official picture however, of Andrew Garfield in costume as The Amazing Spider-man.  Hey look I came up with a title!

Speedy Updates Flash Style

The comic book movie world is swirling the last few days with all kinds of rumors, stories and such all coming out so here's a few quick hits!

-- Transformers 3's rumored title is The Dark Of The Moon, based n domain registration and books listed at Amazon.  What does it mean?  Who knows but let's hope it doesn't suck as bad as Revenge of The Fallen did.

-- Darren Aronosfky is said t be seriously considering helming Wolverine 2 now.  Apparently he was even the studio's first choice for Superman but since the Superman script needs some work, they hired Zach Snyder instead who can move the project quicker than Aronsfky.

-- Emma Stone has been cast as Gwen Stacey int he upcoming Spider-man reboot.  She's a good choice but I almost think she would have made a better Mary Jane.









--  Last but not least the rumored start date for the filming of Batman 3 is April and may shoot in New Orleans.

Spider-Man Promo Poster

The new Spider-man reboot movie hits theaters in 2012 and will be in 3-D.  Sony released this promo poster for promo art usage leading up to the film.  For a reboot the font sure looks like the original trilogy of films.  Maybe they don't want to distant themselves from the Sam Rami films all that much or maybe Sony's marketing sucks.  Either way I think the whole thing is a bad idea and would rather have seen Spider-man 4 even if they had to recast it all
