The Lord Of The Rings Extended Editions are coming to Blu-Ray this Fall.  All though not officially announced, Amazon has them up for pre-order and New Line has all but confirmed them except for an official announcement.  In the mean time check out the artwork to the left and right.

Star Wars Episode I 3D Release Date

The entire Star Wars saga is being converted into 3D and to be released once a year starting in 2012.  Finally now we have a release date for Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace 3D - February 10, 2012.

Superman Has a Hot Mom

Superman's Mom, Martha Kent, has been cast in Zach Snyder's upcoming Superman film and it's none other than Oscar Nominee, and hottie Diane Lane.  This comes off that heals that Kevin Costner has been cast as Jonathan Kent so it looks like Snyder is going back to the basics and possibly telling the origin all over again.  Of course that's not official and we shall see, but Zach Snyder's Superman is shaping up to be a lot of fun.

Robocop May Have A Director

Hollywood isn't going to stop remaking films so get use to it.  The Robocop remake/reimagining rumors ahve been floating around for a couple of years now and it's gaining steam again.  Director Jose Padilha is now rumored to be interested in the project.  The original Robocop is one of the best science fiction films of the 1980's and it's two sequels are two of the worst films of all time, so let's see where they go with this new one.
